ALMADINA ALMONAWARA was established in 1971 as a watch selling store by my Grandfather Mr. ALI ALSANUSI who saw that Watch Industry in Libya would one day become an outstanding business. His vision has really become real as Libya is now enjoying the business worldwide. It has been in existence all these years and it has passed through the hands of the founder down to my father and now to me and my brothers.
It has been a family -Trend Company which my grandfather had put all his efforts to make sure that this company would not suffer any collapse. He worked as a sole proprietor promoting the watch business in Libya. He moved all over the European countries to patronize watch Manufacturing firms in order to make sure he was in line with the newly manufactured products in the world. This, his children have kept till this present time.  Through his handwork, he became one of the best distributors in the country until his death.  He introduced my father into this business and as the old adage goes "Like father like son", He also continued where my grandfather had left. He also carried the good works of his father, Introducing new watches from Europe into the African markets via Libya My father succeeded his father after his death and carried the good works also. He worked Very hard as well and managed to win many hearts of watch manufacturers in many parts of Europe.

LOCATION
We own seven showrooms and they are being operated by my brothers. The main showroom is located At First September Street ,The main street of Tripoli - the capital of Libya - and it is about 50 meters from the GREEN SQUARE; the heart of the city. Two of the seven stores are located in shopping centers, and furthermore we are considered As one of the main suppliers of watches in the local market.
More plans are in the pipe line to spread in other shopping centers & the other main cities in Libya.




STAFF
The company has a work force of about 35 staff. Each of these stores has After Sales Point with well qualified personnel who attend to the needs of numerous customers. There are also Sales Representatives who canvass and promote the sales of the watches in the country With our most dynamic, hardworking and dedicated staffs we are determined to open more shopping centers sooner or later and I am very optimistic that other quality watches will be added to the ones already in stock as the economy is getting improved and the market is opening up.
I mostly collect my stock from Switzerland and other European neighboring countries. We are the sole distributor of ACCURATE; ALFEX, BOSS, DANIEL HECHTER, ELITE, GF FERRE, GIVENCHY, MOOG, TED LAPIDUS, TIME FORCE, SECTOR and VERSACE watch Companies in Libya.
We promote the sales of watches in the country and have gained fame and authenticity.
